Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your HypeFolk account and personal data at any time — you do not need to reinstall the app. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data afterwards.

Delete from within the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the HypeFolk app:

  1. Open the HypeFolk app and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

In short: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

What happens when you delete your account

  • Immediate deactivation. Your account is deactivated as soon as you confirm, and you are signed out on your devices.
  • 30-day grace period. Your account and personal data are permanently removed after a 30-day grace period. During those 30 days you can cancel the deletion at any time simply by signing back in with your phone number.
  • Finish anything in progress first. You cannot delete your account while you have a pending withdrawal or an active task. Complete or cancel your active tasks, and let any in-flight withdrawal finish processing, before you request deletion.
  • What is removed. After the grace period we permanently delete your profile, identity-verification data, and submissions, except for the limited records we are legally required to keep (for example, payment records retained to meet financial regulations).

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email our support team at from the phone number or email address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to verify your identity before we act on the request, and we aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.
